Welcome to Iolani The Property Guest Cottage Haiku Area Nearby Beaches Rates and Details Contact Us		Approximately four minutes by car from Iolani is Hookipa Beach.  Hookipa is world famous for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.  But not to worry... even beginners can learn to surf in the right corner of the beach (shown above).  "Pavilions" has gentle waves, with small reforms on the inside. Paia Bay beach is right in Paia town (less than 10 minutes by car from Iolani).  It's fun to spend time at the beach, but be able to walk to the gelato shop for a cool treat.  Within a few minutes walk from the beach, there are plenty of restaurants for lunch. Of course, it doesn't get any more beautiful than Baldwin Beach.  Some of the appeal is the fact that there are no commercial stands, shops etc. along the beach.  It's just a long expanse of golden sand.  Driving time from Iolani - about 12 minutes.
