Property Location: Hale Pau Hana is towards the central/south end of Kihei, fronting directly to Kamaole II (see photo below). Shops, restaurants are within walking distance.

Beach Quality: The closest beach is just a few feet from the front of the condo - Kamaole II. Beach quality doesn't get much better than this!!!

Property Description and Amenities: THIS IS A PROPERTY FOR BEACH LOVERS! Located oceanfront on Kamaole Beach II, this is one of only a few Kihei condos that actually sits in front of a sandy, swimming beach! The views are fabulous. Shopping and restaurants are close by (within walking distance). Hale Pau Hana has three buildings with a total of 77 units (70 one bedroom units, 6 two bedrooms units, and 1 three bedroom+den penthouse). The two smaller buildings are each two and three stories, and the larger building is 8 stories with an elevator. The grounds have central laundry area (penthouse has private laundry), pool and BBQ area.

The penthouse unit is 2900 sf of space (including lanai), and is the full third floor of one of the low rise buildings. It has cable TV/VCR, ceiling fans in all rooms, split zone A/C (new Sept 03), in-suite laundry, spacious fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, D/W, microwave), and slate floors in the living area (kitchen fully remodeled in fall 2003). The master bedroom is on the ocean side of the unit, and has king bed, TV, private ensuite bath (jacuzzi tub, and glass block shower). The second (queen bed, uses full bath off of hall) and third bedrooms (3 single beds) are set to the back of the unit. The den is large, and equipped with queen sofa bed, computer with internet access, TV, and oceanview. The third full bathroom is located off of the den area.
The large lanai runs across the entire front of the unit, and down one side. It is overhung for protection from the sun. At the top of the stairs coming onto the lanai, is a tiled shower, great when returning from the beach covered in sand.

Our opinion: The location is excellent, and this unit has a gorgeous oceanview. Older property, but the beach makes it all worthwhile!

Disclosures: back rooms will hear road noise when the windows are open. This unit is on the third floor, and there are NO elevators.
